Instructions for full shell and CIC custom earplugs.
Definition & Adjustment
AIRplugs are custom-made, reusable earplugs crafted from your ear impressions for a perfect fit. Each ear is unique — just like eyeglasses, give yourself time to adjust. We offer free adjustments during the first 30 days.
Gradual adaptation
If using them for the first time, start gradually: wear them for 2 hours at the end of your work shift on day one, then slowly increase usage. Always insert them in a quiet place, and remember: protect yourself 100% of the time.
Insertion
Each plug is marked: Red (R) for right, Blue (L) for left. Insert by gently twisting into the canal while pulling the earlobe outward. The top part should fit under the ear fold for a snug, comfortable seal.
Removal
Gently pull the ear to break the seal, then rotate the plug slightly forward while pulling out slowly.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Check daily for wax. Wash with warm water and mild soap (without electronic parts). Dry with a soft tissue. Store them in your case to keep them clean and avoid loss. Use the Wax Loop carefully to remove wax from vents. Use the brush on solid molds only.
Replacement
Replace your AIRplugs if you experience major weight change, growth (for children), discomfort, or after 4 years of use. Discoloration or damage are also reasons to renew.
Warnings
Do not use if the cord might get caught. Not recommended for deep diving. Always follow instructions and wear consistently in noisy environments to ensure maximum protection.
Your AIRplugs are CE certified (EN 352-2:2002). Notified body: CRITT SPORTS LOISIRS, France (ID no. 0501).
